Privacy Policy

No accounts, no tracking, no ads, no selling data. The selfie you style is processed securely, used only to generate the look you asked for, and automatically deleted from our servers within 30 days at the latest. Your rendered looks live on your device.

• The photo you choose to style - uploaded over an encrypted connection solely to render the hairstyle, color, beard, or bald look you selected, stored temporarily, and automatically deleted from our servers within 30 days at the latest. We never use your photos to train AI models, and no human reviews them.

• An anonymous device identifier - a random ID created on your device, used only to track your render credits. It is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or any other identity.

• Purchase records - payments are processed entirely by Apple. We receive only an anonymous confirmation that a purchase occurred so we can grant your credits. We never see your payment details.

• No user accounts, emails, or phone numbers collected.

• No advertising, no analytics trackers, no data brokers.

• No selling, renting, or sharing of your data with third parties for marketing.

• No AI training on your photos.

The photos you style contain your face - that is the point of the app. Lineup’s AI edits only the hair region of the specific image you selected (hairstyle, hair color, facial hair, or a shaved-head look) while keeping the rest of the photo, including your face, as unchanged as possible. This works only on the image (the pixels) of the photo you submitted.

Lineup does not collect or create biometric face data. It does not perform facial recognition, does not identify or verify who a person is, does not match faces against any database, and does not generate or store any faceprint, face template, face geometry, or other biometric identifier. It does not use Face ID, the TrueDepth camera, ARKit face tracking, or any face-detection framework on your device. The styling is used solely to render the look you asked for - never to identify anyone, never to train AI models, and never reviewed by a human. Like all photos, any photo you submit is processed transiently and automatically deleted from our servers within 30 days at the latest (see “Data deletion” below).

To generate the render, photos are processed by our cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services, US region) and by one third-party AI inference provider, fal.ai, which runs image-editing models on our behalf. These providers act as our service providers under strict data-processing terms: they process the photo transiently only to perform the render you requested, do not retain it beyond the processing window described above, do not use it to train models, and do not use it for their own purposes. No other personal data is sent to any AI provider. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone for advertising or marketing, and we do not use data brokers.

Server-side copies of photos and renders are deleted automatically within 30 days at the latest. You can also use Settings → Delete my data in the app at any time to remove rendered looks stored on your device. Your purchased credits are retained so you don’t lose what you paid for.

Lineup is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
